There is no shortage of careers fairs these days, but the Pestalozzi School’s distinctive format offers pupils more than the usual information stand in the Nobelgusch: they can take part in job-related workshops and get a practical feel for the work itself.
bender pneumatic GmbH took that opportunity to introduce interested pupils to the trade of precision machining technician through workshops, and to let them try their hand at it. They could speak directly with our training officer on site and get a first feel for the work.
We also ran an information stand covering the apprenticeships we offer:
- Office management clerk
- Precision machining technician
Many interesting conversations and a lively exchange about the different aspects of these apprenticeships were what we took away from the day.
